Sometimes, we toss around a football here at Indix and imagine how customers might use our giant Product Intelligence database. We’ve thought up endless possibilities from the mundane to the wildly creative (“Let’s say that skydiving companies suddenly want to make more money by delivering products. They could use our catalog information to get product dimensions and weight to see if they’re remotely aerodynamic.”). And we’ve blogged about some of them right here.
As exciting as it can be to think about possibilities, it’s even more exciting when our customers implement our product data in ways that grow their companies. Today, we issued a joint press release about the exciting way that Revolabs uses the Indix Product API.
Revolabs is the premier provider of audio solutions for unified communications, enterprise collaboration, and professional audio applications across a wide range of markets. They selected the Indix Product API to power their “Buy” button–exactly as we’ve imagined and blogged about. Revolabs uses Indix product data to list prices and send potential buyers straight to their preferred channel partners, as you can see in this example:
Clicking the “Buy Now” button sends customers straight to the appropriate page on the retailer’s website, where they can purchase the product right away.
We’re excited about the way Revolabs has chosen to strengthen their channel partnerships and grow their bottom line. And if they ever want to deliver via a skydiver, well, our data works for that, too.
