Announcing Self-Serve for the Indix Product API

We love talking to prospects and customers. We love hearing about use cases. And we especially love launching product features that you want.

Over the past few months, we’ve been hearing that you might not want to talk to us. That some of you love product data so much that you’d rather get started with the data than spend time talking to us. We get that—many of us feel the same way. So we decided to stop complaining about feeling unloved and get developing.

We’re thrilled to announce that the powerful Indix Product API is now available via self-serve. Read the official press release here.

Our self-serve plans give you access to all of our data types via queries or lookup:

  • Summary – Returns aggregate product summary information, including price range, store count, brand information, and category information.
  • Offers – Returns a complete set of products and offers information from a single store or across a set of stores.
  • Catalog – Returns a complete set of catalog information, either as a single aggregated result per product (based on weighted criteria) or broken out by each store that carries that product or products.
  • Universal – Combines the Offers and Catalog data across all stores that sell each product.

Getting started is pretty simple.

  1. Pick a plan – use our credits calculator to figure out which one is best for your needs.

a) Can’t figure out your plan? Want to play with the data first? Sign up for our free trial to check it out.

2. Sign up for the plan once you figure it out.

3. Get your credentials and start coding.

Once you’re signed up, you can find what you need to get started inside the portal, including usage statistics, documentation, and a playground that lets you play with the endpoints.

Now developers can start getting creative with Indix Product Intelligence data immediately. We’re looking forward to seeing your intelligent search applications, comparison shopping engines, Buy buttons, and more Product-Aware applications that we haven’t even thought of. All of our plans (including our free trial) come with full access to our database of over 800 million products and 35 billion price points.

We’re excited about this launch – let us know what you think!
