At Indix, we are very proud of our passionate Customer Success organization. When you are building a disruptive product, you need the right kind of people who can translate the “geek” for sales and customers. Meet Manisha Lakshmipathy, Customer Success Manager at the Indix Chennai office. She loves to unscramble technical specifics for effective communication, travel and cook different cuisines.
How long have you been working at Indix?
I have been here for 6 months now.
What first attracted you to want to interview with Indix?
The idea of working for a startup, and imagining having to work with almost the whole office to get things done was exciting to me. The concept and vision that drives the company is a problem yet to be solved, and that was a factor as well.
What about the interview process helped convince you that Indix is the place for you?
Definitely the people that I spoke with – the management folks that I interacted with during the interview process cared more about figuring out if I was sure about the move, which I realize is a blessing in disguise as the company cared about my thought process before I was even in.
If there was one word to describe how you felt when you got your offer, what was it? Why did you choose that word?
Excited: Because I knew if not a completely new genre of work, I was definitely entering a space which would challenge me professionally and personally in terms of type of work I would do and the process of getting things done.
If you had to describe the whole process in one or two words, what would it be?
Simple, yet tricky.
If you could give advice to future candidates on how to best prepare for and handle interviews at Indix, what would you tell them?
Be yourself. People here are smart and have great experience in gauging and respecting what you are already good at. They would respect your strengths rather than pinching you over your weakness.
What did you learn about the team and culture at Indix during your interview process?
The people I spoke to during my interview process were all transparent about the way things are. No rosy picture was painted and this honesty is what attracted me the most to the company.
