Through our New Hire Spotlight blog series, we want to share insights from our hiring process and shed light on the rockstars that strengthen our team.
Meet Pranesh Ravi, a campus hire who joined us as an intern and is now a Design Engineer. Read about his hiring experience below.
How long have you been working at Indix?
Including the internship, it’s been 10 months since I joined Indix.
What first attracted you to want to interview with Indix?
Ever since I got into college, I wanted to work in a startup and wanted to build products which can help people in their daily life. After finding out about Indix and their vision, it became my obvious choice.
What about the interview process helped convince you that Indix is the place for you?
More than the interview, it was the culture which convinced me that Indix is the right place for me to start my career.
If there was one word to describe how you felt when you got your offer, what was it? Why did you choose that word?
“FINALLY!” Because that’s how most freshers feel! :p
If you had to describe the whole process in one or two words, what would it be?
If you could give advice to future candidates on how to best prepare for and handle interviews at Indix, what would you tell them?
Be bold and strong in your areas of interest. Be open to learning new things.
What did you learn about the team and culture at Indix during your interview process?
The team is smart, very smart. Really, the culture here is too good. You are free to ask and do anything. At the end of the day, you should be able to contribute something useful.
