A Farewell Lunch and Thank You, Qumulo!

Yesterday was bittersweet for us. Bitter because we said farewell to our old office space at Qumulo. Sweet because we have moved to our new digs on 8th Ave and Stewart St.

Qumulo, a stealth startup in Seattle was kind to let Indix sublet a part of its office space in the Century Square building on 4th Ave and Pike St. The story goes like this – Peter Godman and Sanjay Parthasarathy first met over a big data dinner hosted by Xconomy in 2013. Sanjay was looking for an office for Indix. Peter helped out by offering us a part of Qumulo’s cool and hip space. It’s great to see the Seattle tech startup community support each other in this way. Since then, we consider Qumulo an older sister of Indix and we will pay their gesture forward.

We have many great memories from our Qumulo office. Some great friendships were formed. Countless happy hours, scooter drives, and lunches resulted in lots of laughter. We launched Indix there as well as grew our Seattle team from 3 to 9 people. We created this Halloween-themed video to celebrate some of those moments and to say our thanks to Qumulo for being the most wonderful and gracious hosts. Enjoy! Here’s to new beginnings!

Below are some pictures from our farewell lunch!
