Employee Spotlight: Thirulogachander M, Lead Data Analyst

Meet Thirulogachander M, our lead data analyst. He is as passionate about literature as he is about solving business problems for customers. We sat down with Thiru to learn more about him.

What is your role at Indix?
I’m a data analyst here. I collect, collate, transform, and pivot data to identify patterns, detect anomalies and help fix data issues.

What did you do before Indix?
I worked with a data services provider prior to Indix, where I was a business analyst and helped in understanding customer requirements and providing solutions.

Why did you join Indix?
The Indix Dream – to create a new wave in the Product Intelligence space. I wanted to be part of it, and learn new things in a product company.

What have you learned working for a startup?
I’ve been a part of Indix from its early stages of product development to a fully integrated product to a customer-oriented business. I relate this to a symphony orchestra, where different teams synchronize to meet the needs of the market. I have learned how this music is being created and serviced.

What technologies or trends get you most excited?
It is exciting to see how computational technology is becoming simpler to analyze huge amounts of data and the cascading effect of it. It makes a big difference in our day-to-day life. If we throw data in time and space, you can’t see how many dimensions it will create, it is like the universe.

We at Indix create different range of telescopes to see and track it.

What do you do for fun?
I read a lot. Every story I read, I travel with the characters into their life and live with them as another unwritten virtual character.

What is your favorite technology product?
The Internet. It connects not only the machines, but humans too. After food, clothing and shelter, Internet has become the fourth essential thing of life.
