Employee Spotlight – Anthony Dallosto, Sales Development Representative

Meet Anthony Dallosto, Sales Development Representative extraordinaire. Born and bred in Seattle, he brings passion and persistent dedication in his efforts to evangelize our products. We sat down with Anthony to learn more about him.

What is your role at Indix?

I am the Sales Development Representative at Indix. My core competency is to help drive sales while prospecting into accounts to build awareness, as well as setting up meetings with prospective inbound clients.

What did you do before Indix?

I worked for a large Value Added Reseller for almost two years. I was an account executive there handling the full sales cycle. That was my first job out of college.

Why did you join Indix?

I had never worked for a startup before, but after seeing the personal relationships and involvement you can have to help shape the company, I decided to take the leap.

What have you learned working for a startup?

You will most likely not sit in one set role. There is always different areas of the business that you can help with and it’s really cool to learn so much about a company and how a business operates. I also appreciate helping build out the company. Everything you do directly correlates to the company’s success.

What technologies or trends get you most excited?

The idea of pervasive commerce. The idea that at some point (and we are starting to work with these companies) you will be able to point your phone, or glasses, at an object, take a picture, and POOF! You just purchased the item. I love the way that we have the chance to lead this sort of change.

What do you do for fun?

If you know me, you know I am a sports nut… I love watching sports, whether it’s the Mariners, Seahawks, or any basketball or hockey. You can find me catching a game at Safeco or sitting back watching on the TV. I also enjoy working out, camping and playing tennis.

What is your favorite technology product?

That I personally own? My PS4. I just wish I got to use that $400 Netflix machine for its actual purpose.

How would your friends describe you?

Hmm…. a little loud, talkative, honest, and outgoing.
