What is your role at Indix?
I am part of the API Team which is responsible for yielding large scale product information. We are currently working on making our internal distributed product information store take real-time updates so that we can serve fresh price points for the humongous amount of products we have, all the time.

What did you do before Indix?
Prior to Indix, I worked at Morgan Stanley as a Dev Consultant.

Why did you join Indix?
The very idea of working for a startup excited me. And largely because of the people whom I talked to during the interview discussions. Everybody had a clear vision on the road ahead, and I was inspired by them. I also found quite a lot of opportunities for my professional growth at Indix.

What have you learned working for a startup?
What have I not learned! 🙂 Wearing multiple hats; ownership and accountability; faster iterations of work – experience failure and success fast, but learn as much as possible along the way. And needless to say, the learning curve has been phenomenal so far.

What technologies or trends get you most excited?
Brain Computer Interface. It’s thrilling to contemplate its future. I look forward to the day when BCI could be used in conjunction with self-driving car models, for the least human intervention.

What do you do for fun?
I do quite a lot of random activities for fun. I enjoy practicing karate, learning different languages, travelling, adventure sports, and music. Apart from this, owing to its rich literature, I’m a Tamil lingo-fanatic and love reading the classics.

What is your favorite technology product?
Smartphone and wearable tech devices. Pervasiveness of these has made life a lot more simple with ease of access to anything and everything in the tech world.

How would your friends describe you?
A quiet, rational, pragmatic, audacious and crazy girl 🙂
