In 2010, the Indix cofounders saw that the future of commerce wasn’t just on store shelves or big ecommerce sites–they saw that commerce would eventually be everywhere. To fuel this era of Pervasive Commerce, they decided to gather, structure, and provides access to the world’s product information so everyone could act on it.
Since then, we’ve assembled the largest collection of product information and made it programmatically accessible through our Cloud Catalog. We use AI and machine learning to gather, structure, clean, and verify product information from thousands of websites and feeds. We surface this product information through a Product API and Product Feeds to help our customers make better decisions, drive innovation, and sell more products.

Where does our data come from? We have two primary data sources: we politely crawl brand and retailer websites, and we ingest feeds from brands, retailers, and third parties. We have built and patented some of the industry’s most advanced adaptive seeders, crawlers, and parsers.
Simply pulling in crawled data or data from feeds leads to a giant mess, however. Our team builds and refines advanced algorithms and machine learning in order to organize, structure, and refine the vast amount of data that we ingest every day.
Simply gathering and structuring the data wouldn’t be enough without ways for you to acquire that data at scale. To this end, we provide an advanced, RESTful Product API and bulk Product Feeds so that customers can get our data by the drop or by a deluge, whichever works best for them.
Companies use the data from the Indix Cloud Catalog to expand and enrich their own product catalogs. Strengthening their catalogs allows them to build curated search and increase conversion rates on their product pages.
Customers who need to dig into pricing and assortment, MAP, or historic prices turn to Indix for the largest programmatically accessible source of this data. By blending our product information with their in-house data, our customers are poised to make better business decisions.
Indix customers use product information from the Indix Cloud Catalog to build curated search, back-end their keyword search right in our Product API, and make it easier to identify products based on limited identifiers. The end result is both increased efficiency and revenue.
